SAFETY FIRST SHOULD BE EVERYONE’S CONCERN

Note: These are general rules. For professional mechanics renting blocks of time to work on their clients’ cars, there can be some flexibility in some areas. Speak with a Gearhead staff member.

Customers acknowledge their consent and full understanding that this shop will not be responsible and/or liable to its patrons for injuries sustained by the customer while using the shop facilities, tools and equipment in performance of automotive repair and maintenance work at the shop.

Safety glasses must be worn at all times within the facility when performing any automotive work or using the equipment.

No sneakers, open-toed shoes, flip-flops, bare feet, etc. will be allowed within the facility at any time. Please wear appropriate footwear for a workshop environment.

There is a limit of One person per bay when working on your vehicle.  Arrangements can be made with a Gearhead staff member if the jobs requires One additional helper. Please call for more info.

Report any kind of spill IMMEDIATELY to the shop staff.

Smoking is PROHIBITED within the facility at all times.

Rags must be disposed of into the proper containers. Do NOT throw them into the trash.

Only staff is allowed to move vehicles into, out of or within the facility. Customers may NOT drive any vehicle into, out of or within the facility.

Only staff is allowed to place vehicles onto automotive lifts and remove them. Customers are NOT permitted to re-position the lift arms after staff has set them in the proper position for the vehicle.

Customers are responsible for all tools and equipment provided for them to use. All tools and equipment must be cleaned and returned in the same condition as when they were provided.

Use the right tool for the job. Do not abuse or misuse them. Example: Don’t use hand tool socket on the impact wrench.

If you are not sure of anything, PLEASE ASK Staff before proceeding.

Customers must follow all the shop policies, as well as the rules and instructions given by Gearhead Staff members.

You must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license to become a member at Gearhead.

Vehicles being worked on must be registered and insured. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for project cars.

A non-refundable deposit will be placed on a credit card upon time of booking and we require a 24 hours cancellation notice or your credit card will be charged in full for the duration of time booked.
